ActionDignity’s BRAVE Workers 2 Project’s mandate is to empower essential workers in the meatpacking and health industries to drive occupational and health safety and work towards addressing systemic barriers that impede the full exercise of their rights. One of the barriers is their reluctance to voice their concerns because of the fear of losing their jobs or lack of understanding of how and to whom to lodge complaints. Hence, the program developed a Workers’ Resource Kit.

On May 1st, International Workers’ Day, we are launching our new Workers’ Resource Kit (2024). This comprehensive resource provides detailed information on addressing issues related to occupational health and safety, human rights, and employment standards. The kit will be translated into 15 languages to ensure accessibility for essential workers with limited or no proficiency in English.
