Mental Health System Change

Program Introduction

The Mental Health Systems Change program aims to improve access to mental health services and resources for ethnocultural communities through transformative systems change. It employs a collaborative engagement and actions by ethnocultural communities, not-for-profits, and institutional partners to address the root causes of mental health issues in policies, practices and beliefs.

Services We Provide

  • Community Conversation Circle: A safe space for ethnocultural communities to voice their lived and living experiences on mental health issues.
  • Building capacities for ethnocultural communities to increase awareness on mental health and access equitable resources and services.
  • Support planning and implementation of community-led projects on mental health.
  • Natural and Peer Support: Training geared towards acquiring skills in listening, caring and responding to ethnocultural communities’ concerns.
  • Systems Change and Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with stakeholders to inform policy advocacy on mental health issues impacting your communities through our Community Advocacy Team and Community Participatory Action Research Initiatives.
