We are going to be watching the film Moonlight, directed by the wonderful Barry Jenkins.
Moonlight is a film that focuses on Black love, masculinity, and sexuality. Moonlight was the first film with an all-Black cast and the first LGBTQ film to win the Oscar for best picture.
This event is in collaboration with Calgary Ethiopian Youth Alliance and Calgary Cinematheque.
