Empowering Alberta’s Racialized Workers: ActionDignity Launches Natural Support Training for Workers’ Rights Program

Racialized workers in Alberta often face challenges in understanding their workplace rights and accessing essential resources. To bridge this gap, ActionDignity’s Workers’ Rights Program is launching a new initiative: Natural Support Training for Community Leaders and Workers.

This training program is designed to equip community leaders with the knowledge and tools to support essential workers. Participants will gain insights into:

  • Workplace rights and protections
  • Addressing unfair treatment
  • Legal resources and advocacy
  • Building strong community support networks

A key feature of the program is the community-driven approach—trained leaders will share this crucial information in their local languages, ensuring broader accessibility and impact.

By empowering community leaders with these tools, we aim to create a more informed workforce and a stronger support network for racialized workers across Alberta.
