ActionDignity, The City of Calgary, and Habitus Collective Fostered Meaningful Dialogue in Anti-Racism Community Feedback Event
On January 25, 2024, ActionDignity, in collaboration with The City of Calgary and Habitus Collective, orchestrated a dynamic Community Feedback event centred on The City of Calgary Anti-Racism Strategic Plan. The event served as a platform to delve into the plan’s progress and initiate crucial dialogues between the City’s Anti-Racism Program team and esteemed community leaders.
The evening witnessed the facilitation of three pivotal Conversation Circles, each focusing on distinct angles—Community, Public Safety, and Organizational. Participants engaged in thoughtful discussions, contributing diverse perspectives to shape the path forward in anti-racism initiatives.
This event marked a significant stride in fostering collaboration, understanding, and actionable steps toward dismantling systemic racism. The commitment to transparency and inclusivity underscores our collective mission.
