ActionDignity honored Black History Month with a special celebration and movie screening
ActionDignity honored Black History Month with a very special movie screening event on Feb 24, 2023. More than 110 people joined the celebration.
The event invited Mr. Michael Embaie, who has been serving with many boards mainly in promoting peace, advocacy on issues of refugees/immigrants, social and economic justice, etc. as the keynote speaker. His insightful words inspired all those audiences.
Melanee Murray-Hunt and Love Nwigwe, the directors of the two films (“Only One” and “I Can’t Breath”) which were screened at the event have also been invited to join the celebration. They shared their experiences and thoughts through powerful footages that resonated with all people in attendance.
February is the Black History Month, but ActionDignity’s work towards a equitable society never ends.
