Brokers Needed for Research Project. Paid Opportunity!
Happy 2020! Hope the new decade brings forth new vision for a more vibrant and supportive community.
We are presently finalizing a partnership with University of Calgary for a research project to better understand the effects of Community Health Navigation on patient health and experience.
Presently, the research project is looking for Knowledge Brokers (18 years and above) with the following language skills:
1. Punjabi: 2-3 Knowledge Brokers to start
2. Arabic: 1-2 Knowledge Broker to start
The brokers will be required to attend training sessions prior to broker contract work. The training dates will be sent to interested community members in late Jan 2020.
Brokers will be involved in research activities, supporting their individual skill building of research methods. The research aims to strengthen primary care, which can facilitate better health literacy, better knowledge of community services, and improve health outcomes—which serves the common good.
