Program Introduction
The Mental Health Systems Change program aims to improve access to mental health services and resources for ethnocultural communities through transformative systems change. It employs a collaborative engagement and actions by ethnocultural communities, not-for-profits, and institutional partners to address the root causes of mental health issues in policies, practices and beliefs.
Services We Provide
- Community Conversation Circle: A safe space for ethnocultural communities to voice their lived and living experiences on mental health issues.
- Building capacities for ethnocultural communities to increase awareness on mental health and access equitable resources and services.
- Support planning and implementation of community-led projects on mental health.
- Natural and Peer Support: Training geared towards acquiring skills in listening, caring and responding to ethnocultural communities’ concerns.
- Systems Change and Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with stakeholders to inform policy advocacy on mental health issues impacting your communities through our Community Advocacy Team and Community Participatory Action Research Initiatives.
