On November 29th, ActionDignity gathered youth, community members, and partner organizations for our Youth Justice Knowledge Mobilization Event — a powerful day of learning, reflection, and collective action.
This event marked an important milestone in Year 1 of our Youth Justice project. Together, we explored the learning journeys of our partner organizations as they presented their Community Action Plans, highlighting the meaningful work happening across our communities to support youth navigating justice and legal systems.

Participants also took part in thoughtful and engaging group discussions focused on: barriers preventing youth from accessing clear and culturally relevant legal information and community-driven and collaborative actions needed to advance systems change.

The conversations were rich, solution-focused, and grounded in the lived experiences of young people and community partners.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, shared insights, and contributed to building a more just and accessible legal system. We are especially grateful to our funder, the Alberta Law Foundation, for making this project possible.

Your voices and leadership continue to shape a future where young people are informed, supported, and empowered.
