SUMMARY:Youth Mental Health Peer Support Program Session 1
DESCRIPTION:The YCLT SPARK: Igniting Change Through Peer Support!  nnThe YCLT SPARK is a youth-driven youth-led initiative to reimagine mental health support for racialized youth. Designed and facilitated by our Youth Community Leadership Team members—Mariah Santos Rasha Beydaun Kamiya Parmar and Jonathan Nega—this two-session Peer Support Program will bring energy creativity and meaningful conversations to the table. nnAdapting insights from Natural Support training with a youth-centered lens participants will be engaging in interactive games quizzes and real-life scenarios gaining hands-on tools and strategies to recognize and respond to mental health crises in their circles. Beyond just learning they will build deep peer connections and strengthened natural support systems bridging the gap between informal community care and formal mental health services.
