The Community Conversation Circle (CCC) is a structured participatory methodology implemented as a recurring activity within the Y-Justice Project. Its purpose is to create a safe, youth-centered forum that enables meaningful community dialogue on issues related to the youth justice system.

The CCC is designed to:

  • Facilitate informed community voice and lived experience sharing.
  • Strengthen connections among youth, community members, and service providers.
  • Generate community-driven action proposals that can inform advocacy, programming, and policy reform (Action Plan).
  • Grounded in the principles of restorative dialogue and participatory engagement, the CCC promotes inclusive, equity-informed discussion, with particular attention to the experiences of racialized youth.
  • Who Should Attend?

    Youth 15–26 years old who are interested in:

    • Sharing their experiences.
    • Learning about youth justice issues.
    • Connecting with other young people.
    • Creating positive change in their communities.
