ActionDignity Launches Workers’ Rights Leadership Circle to Advance Workplace Equity

ActionDignity announced the formation of its new Workers’ Rights Leadership Circle on November 18, 2025, bringing together a broad coalition of partners dedicated to advancing fairness and equity in the workplace. The circle includes representatives from local unions, the workers’ resource centre, lawyers, immigration consultants, worker advocates, community leaders, and grassroots organizations.

Guided by an officially adopted Terms of Reference, the group will collaborate on reviewing legal gaps affecting workers, strengthening legal education tools, and developing policy recommendations to address systemic barriers.

Rooted in principles of equity, collaboration, accessibility, and empowerment, the Leadership Circle aims to bridge community, labour, and legal sectors to ensure workers—particularly racialized and essential workers—can understand, access, and exercise their rights with dignity and confidence.
