ActionDignity is delighted to announce a series of “Reconnect with Racialized Ethnocultural Organizations” meetings in October. The objective of these meetings is to engage with our valued member organizations, fostering a deeper understanding of ActionDignity’s mission and creating opportunities for collaboration.
In the wake of the pandemic, the collaboration between several member organizations and ActionDignity experienced challenges. As part of our commitment to strengthening partnerships, we are hosting a series of sessions to explore opportunities for renewed collaboration.
The inaugural session, held on October 3rd, saw participation from 21 leaders representing 13 different Ethnocultural Organizations. During this session, Paban Adhikary, Program Coordinator at ActionDignity, presented the guiding principles underpinning our work, including our Theory of Change and the various approaches we employ to achieve our goals, such as Community Connectors, Community-Based Participatory Action Research, the GrOW Platform, and Systems Change and Policy Advocacy. Attendees also learned about the services and benefits offered to ActionDignity’s members.
At the conclusion of the session, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification, further enhancing their understanding of ActionDignity’s mission and objectives. Attendees were also provided with feedback forms to share their insights.
One attendee commented, “The presentation was amazing for various communities. It was well presented and clear and concise.”
ActionDignity looks forward to continuing these meaningful dialogues with our member organizations, reinforcing our commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing our shared goals.
