ActionDignity successfully held an International Workers’ Day event on May 27th. 73 participants attended our Family Fun Day. Our program coordinator, Paban Adhikary shared with the audience on the history of International workers’ Day, and we were also honoured to have Jay Zapata from Migrante Alberta be our speaker, sharing the worker’s significant contribution to the labour movement.
Participants all enjoyed the fun activities during the event. We had a Zumba workshop, a performance by worker singers, Henna for females, and face painting for the kids, etc. There was so much fun!
