ActionDignity held a member engagement meeting on November 03, 2025. The meeting convened member organizations to strengthen their understanding of the policy advocacy work and the collective role in advancing systemic change across communities.
At the session, ActionDignity’s Strategy Lead, Paban Adhikary, underscored the organization’s strategic evolution—from community engagement toward coordinated action in response to the increasing community pressures. He emphasized the need for a five-year strategic framework focused on organizational sustainability, asset mapping, and situation analysis for grassroots organizations.
The Executive Director, Francis Boakye, reiterated ActionDignity’s commitment to removing systemic barriers, highlighting advocacy on foreign credential recognition and eliminating Canadian experience requirements in employment. These issues have emerged as top community priorities, reflecting the organization’s ongoing work in system change and Equity.
The session also featured discussions on strengthening relationships through the Community Connector Strategy, conducting organizational sustainability assessments, and identifying training needs to enhance community Capacity.
Through these efforts, ActionDignity continues to empower its member organizations to be key partners in driving sustainable, equitable Change. This engagement reinforces ActionDignity’s commitment to amplifying community voices and co-creating sustainable, community-led solutions.
