On April 9, 2019 ActionDignity hosted an event called “Every Vote Counts!” this event was in preparation for the Alberta Provincial Election.
Community members had an opportunity to connect with the candidates in the Calgary-Klein riding. The event consisted of a workshop on how to build participants awareness on candidate platforms and capacity in communicating with candidates. Then participants had an opportunity to “speed date” with candidates to ask them questions and have group discussions on the party platforms.
