On June 19, ActionDignity proudly hosted our Annual General Meeting and Community Event, welcoming over 140 participants, including community members, grassroots leaders, funders, and partner organizations.
The evening was a celebration of collective impact and reflection on a year of powerful, community-led work. During the AGM portion, we reviewed key highlights and milestones from the past year, emphasizing the strength of our collaborative achievements with grassroots organizations and ethnocultural communities.
The community event that followed created space for connection, learning, and celebration. A key feature was our World Café experience, where attendees explored interactive stations representing the pillars of our Theory of Change. Each station showcased how ActionDignity’s work—guided by grassroots partnerships—drives meaningful systems change in areas like racial equity, economic empowerment, and community wellness.
A standout moment of the evening was an inspiring performance by our Community Connectors, who used spoken word and storytelling to reflect on transformation, belonging, and the power of collective action. Their message was clear: change begins in the community.
