Empowering Community Leaders Through COACH Leadership Training

Over the past two days, ActionDignity was proud to host a dynamic for new member organizations. This training is part of our commitment to supporting ethnocultural community leaders who are working to uplift marginalized voices and build strong, sustainable organizations.

Participants engaged in interactive activities, peer learning, and facilitated group discussions that deepened their understanding of leadership, community development, and systems change. Key areas of learning included:

  • Foundations of effective leadership and advocacy

  • Identifying root causes of community issues

  • Using the systems thinking and Problem and Solution Tree model to analyze challenges and design impactful solutions

  • Strengthening governance, financial, and program capacities to sustain long-term change

The COACH model doesn’t just build skills — it builds community. The shared experiences and insights exchanged over the course of the training reminded us of the power of collective action and culturally grounded leadership.
