ActionDignity Gender Equity program established a Community Leadership Team (CLT) in May. The CLT marks a milestone where community members take the lead in advocating for gender equity. Tasked with the crucial role of elevating community voices, the group will drive meaningful systemic changes by identifying actionable objectives, prioritizing initiatives, and actively shaping the continuous development of gender equity practices.
The team had a Community Conversation meeting recently to discuss the intersection of mental health and gender equity, particularly within racialized communities. Monthly meeting will be conducted as a regular practice for the team to discuss and surface more issues in the community.
