ActionDignity recently released its Community-Based Participatory Action Research – Deep in Our Minds: Mental Health, Racism, and Isolation, which has been translated into 9 languages.
According to the research, Racism, Mental Health, and Social Exclusion are inextricably linked. Studies also show that race and racism are key determinants of health including mental health among racialized communities.
The research is funded by United Way of Calgary and Area, Canadian Heritage.
