ActionDignity hosted a community conversation for CUAET-Ukrainians in Calgary on March 11, 2023. This is a part of the Calgary Newcomers Collaborative’s “Meeting the Unmet Needs of Ukrainians In Calgary (Stunning)” Project. ActionDignity’s role in this project is to facilitate a community connection of Ukrainian newcomers and to connect them with the bigger Calgarian community.
More than 30 Ukrainians had a constructive discussion about how we can meet the needs of CUAET-Ukrainians, build a community and move forward as a community! A special guest from the Vietnamese community brought advice on the Canadian workplace culture for Ukrainian job seekers and job applications to share with the newcomers.
