Congratulations to one of our Board of Directors, Dr. Turin Chowdhury, who received a Calgary Award for excellence in education in 2022 and was also recognized internationally, receiving the North American Primary Care Research Group Mid-Career Researcher Award last November 2022.
As a key member of our Board, Dr. Chowdhury has been working with ActionDignity to connect people in minority and vulnerable communities in Calgary with services they need. He is a strong advocate of social justice, human rights, and equity for all citizens for many years as well as a bridge from research and academia to the needs in our community.
