Understanding the Bill C-92 Indigenous Prenatal Provision: Preventing Newborn Apprehensions Through Legal Advocacy and Prenatal Support

Join Family Advocacy Support Centre for a community legal education workshop focused on the Indigenous Prenatal Provision under Bill C-92. This session will provide legal information and practical strategies to help frontline professionals support pregnant individuals and families, prevent newborn apprehensions, and promote culturally grounded care and family preservation.

The workshop will be co-facilitated by:

  • Dr. Hadley Friedland (LLB, LLM)
  • Rebecca Foshole-Luke, Forensic Social Worker (RSW)

Participants will learn about:

  • Bill C-92 prenatal provisions
  • Legal obligations and responsibilities
